About us

The printing house CPI Moravia Books, which is located in Pohořelice, Czech Republic, is one of the affiliates of the multinational CPI group, which is the major book printer in Europe. Our name does not only express our connection to this international group and to the region of Moravia, but also our area of expertise, which is the industrial printing and binding of books.

The printing house was founded in 1996 and until 2005 did business on the book manufacturing market under the name of Ueberreuter Print spol. s.r.o. In 2005 the factory joined the CPI group under the new name CPI Moravia Books.
Since then a lot of reconstruction measures have taken place in our company: the purchase of new machinery and technology, renovation within the factory building, the hiring of additional staff, etc. All these actions have enabled us to double our production capacity and to establish ourselves as one of the most efficient and powerful book production and bookbinding enterprises.

In 2009 we set up an office in Krakow to be able to provide our customers in Poland with flexible and functional consultancy services.

CPI Moravia Books can produce all kinds of hard covers and soft covers and moreover has outstanding know-how in bookbinding and the production of flex covers. With us you can get advice in all areas of book production, or even take a technical training.
