Sustainability is a key pillar of corporate social responsibility. This means that we take into account the conservation of nature and ensure the interests of our employees and consumers. Therefore we encourage our clients to the application of FSC paper in the books to make sure that the fiber raw material from managed forests has not led to the destruction of valuable forests. To this end we are FSC certified. Thus, we are also aware of separating our waste. We have four main streams: paper & cardboard, plastics, metals, wood & chemicals. We carry these separately off to certified processors. To this end we are ISO 14001 environmental certifiied through the Grafimedia standard.

Since 1999, we have held the ISO 14001 Graphic Media environmental certificate; since 1994, the TQM 9000 including ISO 9001 certification; and, since 2005, Koninklijke Wöhrmann may display the FSC hallmark and is certified for this.
