Our mainstream product

Popular in all European markets and produced in their millions in our factories, paperbacks are probably the most flexible of all in terms of format, paper type and finishing. We can print them in formats ranging from pocket (10 mm x 18 mm) to A4 and at any run length.
 
Softcover books, whether in pocket or in large formats, are no longer a second choice or the cheap alternative to hardbacks. With flapped covers, jackets or belly banding; spot UV, embossing, print over foil and digital coloured edges; paperbacks can be as sophisticated and as appealing a book as you want.
 
And, of course, we can print paperbacks in their millions or by the unit. In 2011, we installed a new web press at Brodard & Taupin in France, which prints 4.5 million pages per hour – and is the most productive offset web for pocket books in Europe. At the other end of the spectrum, we offer print on demand in quantities as small as one book. In between, we produce very short runs on our Quantum® inkjet lines.
